4everHis
Are we crazy to even think about this?
Whereneverever
No, but you could have snow!
PrincessAriel
Some attractions might not be open. We went one year in May before Memorial Day and some things were closed. I agree about the snow!
4everHis
Exactly the kind of thing I needed to know. I'll have dh look into all the things he wants to visit and if they're open. We had considered the snow part. Thanks for the input!
Sara R
We went to Mount Rushmore in October, and the attractions we wanted to see were open. However, be sure to plan ahead for your food. Most of the restaurants were closed in Keystone and Hill City. We saw Mount Rushmore, Custer National Park, Jewel cave, the badlands, Devil's Tower, and some of the Minuteman missile sites. It was a great road trip!
Elizabeth in MN
There is not much to do in Sioux Falls other than shop or see a doctor.
Caitilin
I like living in the immediate vicinity of Sioux Falls, but I don't know what kind of tourist destination it would make. The things there are to do here are not things I'd personally travel far to see, kwim? Unless there's a concert or similar when you're planning to come through, I don't know what you'd do, especially in March. :)

Rushmore and all the other stuff after.
AKshanmar
We were there in October. It felt "off season", and a few things were closed. But we had a beautiful day and enjoyed ourselves. However, DO NOT stay at the White House Hotel (something like that). It was awful, so bad that we were just laughing the whole time, because there was no other choice!
