Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
I am doing the Beth Moore Daniel Bible study and she suggested we eat the food Daniel asked to eat. He wanted vegatables and water (the study said "vegetables" means anything from plants so fruits and grain products, a such) however this will be extremely hard and I was thinking if I could continue with yogart and cereals then I could make it work. So...was dairy a no-no food for the Hebrews?

Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
No. Thanks :) I was just going to NM this post. Just looked up foods of the Bible and even though the Daniel fast did not include dairy, dairy is a very good food source. Just read a page on the whys of "land flowing with milk and honey". So I will keep my dairy along with the things Daniel ate.
