Okay, so when my mom told me she was doing aroma therapy, I was like, "yeah, well, whatever." I'm glad if it is helping her, but it was probably just suggestability, right? Well, she brought some with her for her visit and I have found the bergamot (for anxiety) SOOOOOOO helpful! And no side effects (I can't take medications). So last night, my hubby was snoring REALLY loudly when I went in to go to bed. I held a cotton ball with margoram on it in front of his nose for two minutes and he got quieter. I went to the bathroom and I didn't hear him again all night! AMAZING!

So I'm going to buy the bergamot and marjoram. And I'm gonna get hubby the anti-smoking. If anyone wants to read more testimonials, they are at the aromasensations.com website.

Anyway, I'm just thrilled that this stuff seems to work so well! And I thought it was baloney!

I find aromatherapy to Be very effective here. I'm working on a line of aromatherapy laundry soap. My daughter thinks it is pointless because the scent doesn't really stick in the clothes, but boy does it ever make me feel more relaxed about having to do laundry.

Now I want some! What a great idea!

It has been amazing. As some know, my parents had a major life issue several months ago. It affected both of their mental health causing them to be whole different people. However, my mom was much more like herself while here. And she reports my dad also is doing better (though he doesn't know he is *doing* aromatherapy). My mom's coworker has been doing this for 2-3 years and my mom wasn't impressed....until she tried herself.

My 4yo (the one who was sent home every day from school last year because of his extreme behaviors due to anxiety) loved my mom's necklace diffuser. I asked my agency if I could get my 8yo one! My son (17) is hoping the sleep one allows him to get rid of the cpap machine (some have been able to).

Lavender is the thing that does it for me. Dr. Teal's Lavender Epsom Salts are a necessity in this house - I can feel my bp drop when I'm running the bath. Poor dh isn't a huge fan of the smell, but somedays (actually everyday, sometimes more than once a day) that is about all that keeps me from screaming my head off.
