Pod's mum
My dd has explained to me that our government is like a rider on a horse. She went on to tell me (rapidly before she got out of the car to go somewhere), that the Government has to look after us, feed, water and provide shelter etc, while we need to support the rider and provide other stuff (like manure, ha ha ha). So today I got her to write it down in our new compulsary 'write one full page EVERY day she's with me'. And she just came up with... "Mum, you are like a Show Horse. You study so you'll get better and pay more taxes and support the Government better!" I like the analagy. I find it really funny that her no make-up and often in work clothes (as in rough-work) mum, could be viewed as a 'show horse'. (Better get back to my study so the government/rider's investment in me can eventually pay off.) By the way, we have a different governmnet system here, Aust. "I am a show horse, I am a show horse" What kind of horse are you and why? (ETA: We are not in town and in a heat-wave, so I'll not risk running the generator, therfore I'll not be back to this conversation until it cools tonight.) (...gallops off....)
