Mama Geek Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 Don't know if it is a good idea while nursing, but dh will drink liquid benadryl or crush up a couple ofs pills. It relieves it some and helps him to sleep it off. No his isn't an allergy he gets the really bad stomach cramping when he gets gluten. I don't know why it helps some, but it does. When DS "gets glutened," I give him activated charcoal and probiotics - a few hours apart. You might try that for yourself (but not for your newborn, obviously).
