Plink Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I never can get that wordless thing down. Photos and words go hand-in-hand in my world. I posted about my New Year's goal of doing more artistic journaling. Quote

laughing lioness Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I have a second one for the week- it's actually more Wordless than my first: Cub rocks. My baby dude turns 13 today! It's been a rough couple of years emotionally. Our house fire, family deaths, move, re-build, etc. has really taxed us. This year though- this fall, specifically, my boy is waking up HAPPY, laughing during the day instead of sad and frustrated, patient, doing homework and chores just because, taking care of the dogs without being told, giving hugs to his little sister. I know a lot of this is maturity, but it's so good to see the weight of the struggles fall off of him. I prayed for him for 4 1/2 years (5 1/2 yr gap between he and bro - I just didn't get pg) and he is the most like me of all the kidsAnd now I've totally blown my wordless moment there, but I am so grateful for this beautiful child.
