Melinda in VT
I have been doing manual scrapbooking of a very basic sort on 8.5 x 11 inch pages. The albums barely fit on any of my bookshelves. I am woefully behind, and it's magnified by my creating both a family album and one for each of our four kids, and I'm considering switching to digital scrapbooking. However, I can't find anyplace that will print 8.5 x 11 pages. Switching to 12 x 12 would give me a choice of printing vendors. But none of the many shelves in my house will hold 12 x 12 albums. Where do you keep yours?
skeeterbug
I purposely bought a deep bookshelf to hold them! ;) It has come in very handy for other items as well, including larger books. The cube type ones work well, think Ikea Expedit.

Halcyon
I have an expedit too, but right now the albums are kept on the top shelf on my youngers closet. It is a deep shelf, and i have about 15 albums and counting, not inc the digital which i have yet to upload and print at shutterfly. They are very big, it's true, but i love getting lots of photos on a page.
Melinda in VT
Thanks. I'm looking at the expedit shelves online. I might get a shorter one (31" tall) and see how it goes. It's really a shame. This house has a ton of built-in bookshelves, but none of them are deep enough.
thescrappyhomeschooler
I also bought the large 5X5 cube Expidit for my living room to keep my scrapbooks out. I have about 24 12X12 scrapbooks completed right now, so the rest of the shelves are for library books and knick knacks.
