amo_mea_filiis.
Wearing the wrist braces at night, soaking in the evening, not using my phone so much, and only doing what I am able to do, seems to be helping much better than therapy. I do not feel pain or nerve stuff while I'm doing the exercises, but it hurts a LOT after therapy. I had to cancel therapy last Thursday because of snow and my car and my wrists feel good right now. The best treatment I've found is not typing on i devices, which could even be the cause. Should I quit therapy? Go, but tell her what I've figured out? amo_mea_filiis.
Tendon and nerve "stuff" is the best I've gotten.
unsinkable
Ahhh...stuff! It's an epidemic ! I'd just consider going if I knew the pain was temporary and lead to a better quality of life.
amo_mea_filiis.
I will continue. I was completely pain free and functional for 2 or 3 days now. I just tried to crochet :( and it hurt my left hand.
texasmama
Sorry to hear that. Maybe it was helping in ways you didn't realize.
amo_mea_filiis.
I need some new ideas. Dd and i used to knit and crochet in the evening while listening to audiobooks. I found some podcasts that i like and will add to our nightly time, but what activity can i do? I seem to not be able to do anything that requires intricate fine motor stuff... Lego, crochet, writing, coloring. When i said i was completely functional, it was that day to day stuff like laundry, dishes, and cleaning did not hurt.
