HomeschoolMamaOfTwo
I'm curious if anyone is doing anything on their own or with their children/family to reflect on 2012 or look forward to 2013? I found a few things on Pinterest I thought we might do, but was wondering if anyone had anything else, or just traditions that you normally do? Share with us if you do! Here is what I found: For Kids - http://www.thirtyhan...ar_resolutions/ For Myself - http://www.susannahc...k-the-workbook/
5wolfcubs
I'm not good at reflecting. And neither are my children...they must reflect me in that! I downloaded the workbook you linked...I can never do that sort of thing, although I like the concept! For our family, I plan to revive our 3x5 daily calendar. I started last year, got to about March and since I was out of pre-written cards, stopped. I still don't have more cards, but have until March to buy some. I think tomorrow we will read through all the days we did record last year! Here is the originial link for it: http://www.designspo...ar-journal.html
CandaceC
I've chosen a "word of the year" for the past few years and God has really done a lot in me regarding these topics each year. Is this the kind of thing you mean?? Here is my post about my 2013 word of the year and a book I'm reading about having a word of the year that was really good, too! Here is the originial link for it: http://www.designspo...ar-journal.html Oh that is a neat idea! A multi year calendar and you can look back to see what you did the previous year. Good concept. I've chosen a "word of the year" for the past few years and God has really done a lot in me regarding these topics each year. Is this the kind of thing you mean?? Here is my post about my 2013 word of the year and a book I'm reading about having a word of the year that was really good, too! Yes, that is what I mean! I just wanted to see if anyone else was doing anything, on paper or in writing or maybe even in pictures about the year that is gone and the new one that is coming. :) I have recently finished Susannah's Unravelling course. Her stuff is really good. I am looking forward to doing this one, starting on it now. I will have to look into her other stuff!

Last year was great and I look forward to a new year to make more memories with my family,
5wolfcubs
Oh that is a neat idea! A multi year calendar and you can look back to see what you did the previous year. Good concept. I read all the entries on New Years Day -- as it turns out, there were only 18! I had made cards for three months but only managed to remember to write for a few weeks! :smilielol5: It was fun to read them and see what we had been doing though. And we began again! I hope you and your kids enjoyed reflecting and have made a great start to a purposeful New Year!
Michelle My Bell
I posted my plans for the new year on my blog. One thing I am doing is to have monthly resolutions. www.homeschool-chalkboard.blogspot.com
