Just Kate
I have a free credit at audible.com and I would love to get an audio book for my book-loving 8 year old son. He listens to books all the time and I think we've exhausted all of the good (free) options from our library. Anything books that are great to listen to that he might like? fourisenough
My 8 year old and I just listened to the Rowan Hood series by Nancy Springer (3 titles in all) and loved it. We've also listened to the Indian in the Cupboard series (not sure how many books - 4 perhaps?) in the last year. Both were wonderfully narrated. Hannah
Charlotte's web, read by the author Three Tales of my Father's dragon Atticus the Storyteller (there are three in the series) Tales of the Greek Heroes My 8yo also likes the Sisters Grimm series - probably more appropriate for an older audience, but she started listening when her sister did. Julie Smith
Dd likes this too! Her verdict - very funny! I keep track of books. (With the except of books by Thornton Burgess Two of the most listened to books in our house are, "Thor's Wedding Day" and "The Incredible journey". Both have very well done audio versions. :)
