sweetsouthern
can anyone recommend resources for copywork for a 6th grade girl that arent bible verses? we could do them from her reading, but she seems to like them better when they are together in one book or folder, printed out. i found a few online, but now i need more! thanks so much for any help! :)
momto2Cs
Get a good book or two of poetry. My ds11 is planning on copywork from Shel Silverstein's work, among others, and dd9 is working with Emily Dickenson and fairy-themed poetry. MerryAtHope
What is the purpose? My dd wanted to work on her handwriting this year (she's in 8th grade), so I chose the America the Beautiful copywork book from Queen Homeschool. Very nice selections; however, we do find punctuation errors about once a week or so (we are using this daily). It's actually served as a good review since we went over a unit on punctuation at the beginning of the school year, but I'm surprised at the number we've found. All in all though, we've enjoyed it, and I know Queen has some other selections too. Have you looked on Rainbow Resource Center at all? They have a lot of copywork books to choose from. Merry :-)
