Gamom3
I am looking for a 5th grade reading list for my dd...any suggestions?
Angel
When my dd was that age, I put together a reading list from the Tanglewood site. They had different categories and I picked some books from each category.
Mary in NJ
There is an extensive list on 1000greatbooks. You will be able to find some tried and true books over there. Of course, you have probably already used the reading list that is in The Well Trained Mind. I used those titles first before moving onto another list. Hope this helps, Mary
Karen in CO
I love most of the Sonlight 5 readers. I would use those as a starting list. Actually, I use the Sonlight reader list as the start of my reading list every year.

asher
http://www.classical-homeschooling.org/celoop/1000-elementary.html We use the lists here. I'm not sure if this is what Mary meant or not. :)
sagira
I use Honey for a Child's Heart, Peak with Books and Paula's Archives. I also have Ambleside if I run out of ideas.
