Carrie12345
Is there any such thing as a non-plastic oven lock? For months, we've been trying to watch ds like a hawk when the oven is on, but he finally escaped our notice and opened the hot oven. Thank goodness he slammed it shut before touching anything!!! I really need to get a lock, but there's no way to side latch it, and those plastic sticky locks would melt right off if it went vertical. Plus, he's already ripped the plastic sticky locks off the fridge and freezer. Help!
dbmamaz
is he unable to learn that the oven is owie-hot . . . maybe try putting his hand in the oven, carefully not touching anything, so he learns? i used very few child-safety items ever . . . Kathryn
Can you gate your kitchen? That's what we had to do with Ds1.
Carrie12345
Can you gate your kitchen? That's what we had to do with Ds1. Unfortunately, no. Our old apartment was set up great for gating the kitchen. Here, the kitchen is open. There's one wall, but the opposite (and angled) side ends with a dishwasher, lol.
