Shelly in VA
My kids are working through Apologia's elementary Anatomy and Physiology and Apologia's Human Body (range of ages here!), and one of the experiments involves getting a blood typing kit. Naturally, all my kids want to do this, but when I looked for a blood typing kit at Home Science Tools, they are $9 EACH. I almost think I'd be better off buying the $100 kit with 32 tests than to purchase 5 individuals at $9 each!! Frustrated that the cost for individual kits is so high when there is obviously still a profit margin at $3 each!! Does anyone have a source for purchasing these more affordably? Thank you!! MissShelly
Hi, I can't tell you where to get it cheaper but we did the blood type kit from homeschhol science and it was neat but why would you want 32 kits? I mean once you have done your blood type that is it. they take about 5 min. to do. i am only asking beacuse you might be better off because it is cheaper to just get a couple kits. Anyway that's what we did.
