Flu exposure, to send or not to send DD to school

Dd14 was just diagnosed with the flu today. She began having symptoms on Saturday night, which included a sore throat and headache and then a fever and red eyes this morning. Dd10 had a sore throat last night and this morning, but she was in good spirits and had no fever, so I sent her to school. Now that oldest dd has tested positive for the flu, should I keep the younger dd home as a precaution, or just send her until she develops more symptoms? I plan on calling the dr. tomorrow to see if they want to see dd10, but they don't open until after school starts. So WWYD?

I would only keep a kid home from school if he/she is too sick to go. I wouldn't keep them home based on a sibling being sick. So, if she has a sore throat and you think it's the flu, keep her home. If it seems like nothing, I'd send her on. More than likely, she exposed everyone yesterday anyways...
