AnnaM
We just started IEW level A. So far loving it and the girls are doing great. I usually go through and correct their final draft myself with them sitting beside me and then have them re-write it. My oldest is not copying it word for word as corrected. Well mostly it is grammatical errors with punctuation and capitalization. How many times should I require her to re-write it? I don't feel like it is laziness or carelessness. I believe she is just trying to work it out for herself and doesn't quite get it right, but I don't know that I want to make her re-write it over and over again. WWYD? Kuovonne
This is why I taught my DD how to type. First drafts are handwritten. After I go over it with her, she types the next draft. If she still needs to make corrections, they are easy to do on the computer.
