aggieamy
I'm at a loss as to what would be a good gift for a niece of mine. She loves horses and rodeo. She enjoys reading but I don't have any good ideas on what types of book she enjoys. I know that I've seen Twilight on her shelves but I don't remember any other specific books. She's smart and would like to become a veternarian or something else that would allow her to work with horses. Ideas? I'm sure something horsey would be most welcome. How about any horse books? Ottakee
Any books by Mark Rashid are really good horse ones. If possible, start with the first ones just as those lay a foundation of his ideas on working with hroses. Kathleen Lindley has a great book out as well. If she likes rodeo she might like the book We'll Have the Summer by Dutch Henry. Very touching story about rodeo and horses but the lady in the story passes away at the end so you would have to decide on that one.
Unicorn.
Breyer horses. What about James Harriot books. The vet aspect might appeal to her. I loved them when I was young and wanted to be a vet.
