User Selectable "Posts Per Page" Option?

I know having more posts per page was popular with some laptop/desktop users, but it wreaks havoc with viewing long threads on an iPad.

Is there an software option that would allow users to select the number of posts displayed per page? If so, activating it would be a boon for iPad users.

Thanks,

Bill

This was discussed when the forum first updated. Other John changed it so that it wouldn't be 10 per page as it was that first week. So now it's 50 for everyone, which those of us who always had it set higher liked. But it was implied that this forum software does not allow users to set it themselves.

Drat. 50 posts per page using an iPad is a nightmare.

Don't know about on mobile devices, but there is a back to top button on a computer. A little arrow in a grey circle in the middle of the bottom of the page.

Yes there is a arrow to take you to the top of the page if you are on the bottom. Helpful if you are already on the bottom (which takes a long time when scrolling) and want to go to the top, but doesn't help if you want to get to the middle of a page.

I have never seen a forum set up with 50 posts per page. Not even close.

10 posts per page was too few, but perhaps there is a better compromise than 50?

I think 25 - 30 would be about right, but I don't know how that would be on an iPad. I'm getting a mini soon. I'm so excited!
