I have finally let go

of some things in my house that for some reason I thought I needed.......a kitchen/dining room table that took up more room than it should have. A pub table that seemed to only be used for a junk pile, several things on shelves in my storage area that I haven't used in over 3 years, various toys, skates, sporting equipment, bikes, and otherwise outgrown things that we DO NOT NEED but for some reason I couldn't part with.

 

I am feeling FREE!!!!!!!!

 

I had no idea. Now I want to keep going.

 

Part of me is sad my boys have outgrown things they once cherished. Part of me is glad they no longer like those little tiny toys that junk up the place.

woohoo! It is a good feeling, but yes, the sadness will be there too.

I've been decluttering slowly over the last few months and I love it. The added benefit is that I've been able to give a lot of it to people who really need or want these things and couldn't buy them. So, I've got a tidier house AND my heart feels happy! :hurray:
