Have you ever turned a pair of jeans into a skirt?

So I need a long jean skirt. I have exactly one, so it'd be nice to expand my wardrobe. :p. Dh likes it, and likes me to wear it. I find it comfortable. I prefer skirts to pants, but find myself in pants a lot because I cannot find long skirts in stores.

 

I decided to surf, and found that I can turn a pair of jeans into a skirt. Anyone ever actually done this and like the results?

Yes! I made one of these years ago. But it took two pairs of jeans to make a long skirt. I really liked that skirt - I used two different washes (one light and one dark) and it was pretty.
