TrixieB
I have a bunch of apps on my ipod touch. If I get an ipad, can I put the apps onto it too? Or do I have to re-buy the apps? Is there a limit to how many ipods/ipads you can load an app onto?
Jann in TX
Yes, your devices can share apps. We have 2 Iphones and 2 Ipads -- all share the same apps (we can also choose the ones we want on each device. There used to be a limit-- not sure now. Some Ipad apps are different from the phone/touch apps-- so while they will 'work' on the Ipad we have had a few where we purchased an Ipad specific app (mainly better resolution). The key is keeping ALL devices under the same Itunes account.
StaceyinLA
As long as you have the same apple ID on the device, you can load your already purchased apps on it. They should be in your iTunes anyway and when you sync, you just check off the apps you want to put on your iPad. I think you can load the apps on up to 5 devices, but possibly even as many as have your apple id entered as the id.

Mommyof4ks
We have 6 devices on our account so far. Be sure to set up cloud not to download every app to every device, or you will end up with the kid's Lego games and hubby's map obsession on your device randomly when they download stuff. redsquirrel
I actually have my iphone set so I will get any apps that the kids have loaded onto their ipods. They can't actually buy any apps without my help (password needed) but I figure it is one more way to keep track of what goes onto their devices. I just delete them after they show up. At some point they will have control over what they buy, but I will still keep a quiet eye on things. As of last christmas, there was a limit as to how many idevices can be attached to one itunes. I don't know if it is the same now.
Lawana
You can download the app "Remote" and activate "homesharing" from the computer you have your itunes account on. You can share a movie, for example, without having to take up memory on each device.
