He has a lot of contacts at our small local airport. Last night one of his fellow pilots crashed and died. He was my husband's friend and he was also one of our family's financial supporters for the mission field. HIs death has rocked our community. He was a very well-known and well-liked man with a very large family. I can still hardly believe he's gone sometimes. His wife is still very sad. He was just about to retire. I can't help but think what it would be like if he was still here... My husband was worried that I might start worrying about him flying, but I have such a peace about it. I know he's a good pilot, and his mechanical background makes him so in tune with his plane, but I also know that he won't die while he has work left on this earth.
