SorrelZG
I started DS on his copywork, no further instruction, and left to do phonics with DD. I returned to the table to find DS finished his copywork and two pages into his math. *cue Twilight Zone music* Moments later I'm going over the next page on 1/4, reviewing it and asking him if he understands or has any questions. Nope, he assures me he's got it and with his next breath he asks, "So, what is a quarter?" .. and while I was addressing him about not paying attention while I'm speaking to him he was recollecting what a quarter was ... and not listening. :banghead: Nope, this one is definitely mine. Jean in Newcastle
Perhaps he was thinking out loud? Not a bad skill to have. . .
SorrelZG
Yeah .. but no, there was no misunderstanding. :) I'm just going to focus on how cool it was that he started math without prompt or oversight which is totally above and beyond expectation.
