LearnFromHome
Ladies, I'm starting to see my skin change, its getting dry and those lines are getting more noticeable. What natural skin care products are out there? I do not want to spend a fortune but something reasonable. Thank you! Judy
momo4
Super natural??? Emu oil. It is very hydrating and very pure. It may be that your hormones are changing. I think mine are. Dry skin is a symptom of hormone imbalance.
profmom
Check out L'Bri. It's aloe-based. I like it because most of the products seem more "natural," but I'm not sure about some of their newer products.
OnTheBrink
I like the Burt's Bees products. I love the day radiance cream with royal jelly. BB's has a line for "mature and sensitive skin" that's nice.
Doran
I think, were money no object, I'd seriously consider Arbonne, even in spite of the pyramid structure. Instead, I like either Aubrey Organics or Weleda skin care products. You can also go to this site and check out the Skin Deep report for a rating on products you might be considering. Sharon H in IL
I like almond oil as a moisturizer. It doesn't have SPF, so I wouldn't use it alone in the spring or summer, of course, but it is absorbed well by the skin so it doesn't feel greasy the way mineral oil does. Can't get any cheaper! Sue G in PA
mineral oil actually provides a barrier or sorts over the skin so that all other beneficial ingredients cannot be absorbed. Any product containing mineral oil and claims to do anything beneficial for your skin is not being truthful. Anyway, I started using Arbonne (but it is pricey) b/c of the quality. Some love it, some hate it b/c of the "pyramid" structure of the company.
Lisa at Home
Other than that, a natural antioxident cream occasionally. Vitamin c is very good at restoring aging skin. ~Lisa
