1GirlTwinBoys
The other thread now has me worried about this. :confused1: My books are not here yet but what precautions can I take to prevent anything like that from happening?
Faithr
Put them in plastic bags and freeze them for 2 weeks. We just got back from Spain this summer bringing bedbugs home. We had to get a pest control company to treat and it worked great! We really only suffered for a week or so because we caught things before the infestation took off. But he said to wash everything that could be washed and to freeze things like books. You could look through the books first to check for bugs. Keep them outside and do a thorough inspection. But if you are really worried freezing them for long enough to kill the eggs is supposed to work.
Catwoman
Check them when you get them home, but honestly, your chances of those particular books having bed bugs is very remote. There is probably absolutely nothing to worry about!
