plain jane
How much writing does your child do for this program? My intention is to use it to go along with ES Earth & Space Logic Stage. My plan is to have her read the chapter/section. We will do any and all experiments/investigations that I can feasibly pull off, and then have her do the review questions orally with me. I will also have her do the chapter assessments- can these be done orally or would it be better to have her write them down? I haven't actually started the program yet and am trying to get a feel for what will work. My plan is to follow ES program and use CPO as back up reading, especially when the encyclopedia work gets a bit tedious (which, from past experience, I know it will). There is a fair amount of writing with the ES program, but ideally I would like to make more use of CPO. What else should we be doing with this program? Luckymama
Dd did all the chapter assessments for both CPO Earth and CPO Life orally. I find that she gives richer, more interesting answers that way. Some answers would then lead into a deeper discussion of the question, beyond the scope of the middleschool text.
