Would you eat this?

Recommended Posts

I found an unopened block of mozzarella cheese in the refrigerator drawer just now. On the side of the package, it says, "Best Before (*gulp*) 4/25/08"!! :001_huh:

I opened it, and it looks & smells fine and the texture is normal. I'm about to make a semi-homemade pizza. Are we likely to get sick if I use this cheese?

I'd use it.

and if part of it was nasty green, I'd cut it off and STILL use the rest.

cheese is pretty flexible ;)

Yup, that's what I do. Cheese rarely lasts that long around here, though. It would have to get shoved back into some deep, dark crevice in the fridge to actually get to the point of molding.
