PrincessMommy
This could just be a "what are you currently listening to" or "your Favorite CDs" share links if possible so people can sample (if they want): First I Love..love.. cin
We bought a CD YEARS ago that is hammered dulcimer and some other 'old fashioned' instruments. I think it's called a Smokey Mountain Christmas. I absolutely LOVE it. There are no voices, just the instruments. That and the classic 'Sing Along with Mitch Miller'. PrincessMommy
The instrumental one sounds like something I would like too.
happi duck
I love Christmas music in general but these are my two favorites: Relient K: Let it snow baby, let it reindeer (imho, best 12 days of Christmas...ever!) Freckles
I have a bunch that I enjoy, but my all time favorite is Amy Grant's "A Tennessee Christmas." My mom played this "tape" non stop at Christmas time in the 1980's. It wouldn't be Christmas without the song Heirlooms. :001_smile:

PrincessMommy
Cool! I'll check these out too. I remmeber Amy Grant's Tennesse Christmas too - and my mom played over and over again too. I also grew up with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas album. Brings back fond memories.
TN Mama
Henry Mancini's Christmas - This brings back great memories. is my favorite. (Makes me cry... every time. It's not even a sad song. I think it must just be memories flooding back...) Peace on Earth by Casting Crowns - Love their version of I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day Any Amy Grant Christmas CD is a favorite and I also grew up on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - Their version of Händel's Hallelujah Chorus is my favorite. New favorite is The Lovespies. Very different. Love the strings and her voice. Ahh!
unsinkable
I've got the time life treasury of Christmas sets. They have a wonderful variety of songs and artists. I also love Sarah McLachlan Wintersong, Shawn Colvin Holiday songs and Lullabies, and KT Tunstall Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
