cottonmama
Has anyone found one of these three sources of free e-books to have consistently better quality formatting? If the same book is available at all three, which would you use?
Mrs Mungo
I wouldn't say it was at all consistent. It is varied. I usually actually look at the file before downloading it.
Jayne J
I have had the best luck with Google books, but I am not familiar with Manybooks, so I can't compare. IME Google books has tended to keep pictures and formatting better than other sources.
Mergath
Meh. A lot of the books from any of the three sources aren't great. When it comes to classics, I find it's easiest just to pay a buck or whatever and get the ebook from Amazon. It's definitely worth paying a very small amount to get good formatting, no typos, etc. Is there a certain book or genre you're looking at? Elfknitter.#
I tend to prefer the PDF versions on Google Books to any ebook format.
