Amber in AUS
We have a box of Prismacolor markers which hardly get used because they are in the box! I'd like to put them into a carousel where they will stand up and go on the table for everyone to use. My question is, will it damage the markers or lessen their life span if they are standing upright in the carousel as a posed to laying down like they do in the box? Thanks
besroma
We keep ours standing upright in the box. I have not noticed a decrease in lifespan due to this (like I do with other markers). We have had them for years.

Satori
Same here, we keep ours upright and we've also had them for probably three years now. I keep thinking of changing their storage container so they lie horizontally at a little tilt up, but so far they are fine.
NCMom
Well my girls own markers so expensive they make Prismacolors look cheap :001_smile: , and they store them upright in holders made by the manufacturer for this purpose. So it must not be too bad. The Prismacolors they do use have lasted for literally years stored this way. What does the Prismacolor site say, one wonders... hth, Georgia
