Anne in CA
I should start by saying that the cat is 12 years old. She has developed scabby bumps under her fur and I am a little worried. What questions should I ask the vet when I bring her in? Is this normal, how worried should I be?
somo_chickenlady
Our cat gets those sometimes b/c she scratches at herself obsessively. Particularly on her back behind her neck. I think our cat has some unknown allergies, so she itches.
MomtoCandJ
Our cat who is 11 gets these too but it's from fleas she is allergic to most flea meds too, so the only thing we can do is give her a bath with flea shampoo
Pawz4me
Skin issues are very common in cats and dogs. Most are relatively easy to resolve, and often a vet can tell what's causing it just by looking.
