CalicoKat
if I say that my son's breathing & vocalization tics are really getting on my last nerve. He just started these this fall. Doc says to not mention it.
Impish
Nope. You're probably human though. Sorry about that.
Mommy22alyns
Nope, not at all. Rebecca makes this awful e-e-e-e-e-eeeee noise and it drives. me. NUTS. I ask her all the time to stop it and she never does.

Doc says to not mention it. No. It does not make you a bad mom! Of course I would say that because otherwise I would be a bad mom too :D . Ds has some vocalization tics that drive me up the wall. Thankfully, he does not do it all the time, but when he does I have a hard time tuning them out.
DawnM
So glad to hear my kids aren't the only ones with tics. My youngest has vocal and repetitive tics that make me nuts. My middle does some weird thing with his eyes and his head movement that drives me nuts as well.
whitestavern
Try adding some magnesium to his diet (we use Natural Calm). It really helps my ds with his tics. It is hard not let them get to you :grouphug:
