Guest
I just received my Calvert newsletter for the month and this article on learning styles was included. It is brief but in those brief lines it reminded me of some things I used to do as a visual/ tactile (or kinesthetic if you prefer) learner (and even now) that I have not been using with my son. One was making my own concept maps, which helped me structure information and retain it better (seeing the connections). I even spoke to my husband (also a visual/ tactile learner) and he agreed that he also used some of these tips. Anyway, it only touches on a few key points , but I thought I would share it in case someone finds it useful.
