Baby tooth question

DD lost her second front tooth weeks ago and the permanent tooth has yet to come through. I don't even see it starting to come through. Should I be concerned? It's been a few years since my boys lost teeth and it seems the tooth came through right after the baby tooth came out. She did have a couple of baby teeth that came through quite a while after all others were it but it was not her front tooth.

Front teeth can take quite some time to come through. I wouldn't worry.

I agree with others, it's most likely just fine. My son has had one of his canine's out for about 6 months!!! It is just now starting to poke throught the skin. The orthodontist said some just take their time coming through.

Dd had a couple that took at least 6 months to come in, and then others that started coming in before the baby tooth was out. Totally normal.

My dd didn't have her two front teeth for nearly 2 YEARS! I thought I'd be cutting up apples and taking corn off the cob for her until she was 30 :001_smile: . The dentist just said she has "slow to erupt teeth".
