mommyx4
Can you suggest any books on character development in the tween age group? If would be great if they were geared toward boys. Looking for books on honor, peer pressure, trust, etc. (Preferably not about people that live on farms-we do live on acreage, but my boys don't like reading about things like that). Thanks! MarinesWife
http://www.amazon.com/Created-Work-Practical-Insights-Young/dp/1883934117/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354142782&sr=8-1&keywords=made+for+work And the other 2 books by Bob Schultz also. I've only read one and I loved it. Simple, easy read. Great insights. We'll be having our sons read them when the time comes.
kubiac
Maybe the old Childhoods of Famous Americans series?
mommyx4
I'll look those Childhoods of Famous Americans up. I do have the Created for Work book already. I'm looking for books to do as read alouds or books the boys can read themselves.
FriedClams
Read for the Heart by Sally Clarkson has good suggestions, the 1000 Good books list is very classic and solid, Book of Virtues compiled by Bennett...
