michaeljenn
I cannot decide if I should download FLL and WWE or just by the printed copy. I know it is a silly decision! LOL Of course, I want it NOW and not wait on it to arrive... but what are the benefits of the PDF? I would LOVE your opinions!
ByGrace3
I did print last year and PDF this year. I really love having it on PDF. I have them on my iPad and am trying to do as much as I can as PDF's. I printed the WWE student pages and had them spiral bound. I like less books to haul around. I am trying to do as many teachers manuals on the iPad as possible. It really simplifies things.
Stef03
I like doing both... I buy the printed copy (I like to read out of a "real" book) as well as the pdf file of the student pages. We don't write in the books (that way they should still look decent in a few yrs for my younger 2) & we print as we go for the student pages - it will save us $ in the long run hopefully :)

michaeljenn
Thanks guys! I went ahead and purchased the printed book and the PDF of the student pages. I decided I did not want to print the WHOLE book out. LOL
StartingOver
:iagree: For Level 1 & 2 of WWE, I got both. For levels 3 and 4 I will get the bound workbooks for the kids. Haven't done WWS yet, so will cross that bridge when I get to it.

boscopup
FLL 1 and 2, I got hard copies, as they're reusable and are cheap anyway (~$10 each on Amazon). FLL 3, I got hard copies because the workbook is HUGE. WWE1 and 2, I got hard copy, then bought the PDF for the student pages in level 1, but level 2 I didn't bother because I didn't use the student pages anyway (lines were way too big). threedogfarm
I bought the hardcopy b/c I do not have tablet/ipad to read off of for FLL3. I am doing two children at once with FLL3 so I debated buying two student books or the PDF. I ended up going with the PDF for the student worksheets because: 1. I have a laser write that can duplex. 2. my children don't like writing in thick workbooks so I would have bind the workbooks into smaller sections. With the student workbooks I keep them in a two pocket folder--1 side for completed lessons, one side for new lessons. I actually had to divide them into two folders each b/c they were so thick. I used filexec folders becase they were so durable. There is a place for three hole punched paper in the middle (where an actual report would go through). When we come up to the memory work I three hole punch that and put it in there with the most recent in front. That way it is easy to do it everyday before our lessons. This has worked out great. Originally I was going to bind the worksheets but I really like this method better.

ChicoryChick
For FLL3 I purchased the TM hard copy since it is nonconsumeable and the Student Book in PDF. I have a decent printer and can get cheap ink through Amazon so it actually cost less than getting the Hard Copy, I also have a little guy coming up behind so all I have to do is print a copy for him and saves money in the long run. for WWs I purchased both the TM amd WkBk as a hard copy since they are (mostly nonconsumeable)
Hedgehogs4
For WWS, I would definitely buy the books. That would be A LOT of printing.
