A step up from SnapCircuits Extreme 750? Electronics lab recommendation?

We have TONS of building sets and Mindstorms. We will start Arduino once he masters Mindstorms.

 

I thought a more advanced electronics sets would be fun since he enjoys SnapCircuits. I just need a little help picking something out. Thanks!
