swimmermom3 Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 TWTM is pinned to my Mozilla browser. If I open the site and go to read private messages, I must go back to the browser in order to view the various forums. In other words, I can't move from members to forums without leaving the site. Is this typical for everyone? There is no way to get to the Well-Trained Mind Community from private messaging. ETA: If I click on "forums," it says the page is unavailable. Quote
elegantlion Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 The private messages sent since the change over were lost, according to the thread I started earlier. I don't know if that is true for everyone, or just those that had over the limit of 100 old messages show up. That is why they aren't showing up and you're getting an error message. I plan on copying and pasting. You can PM if this doesn't make sense. At this point I'm not sure what words I'm using will make sense. Quote
dbmamaz Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I dont think the second post answers the question in the first one? She didnt ask why she has no messages, only why, when she clicks on the button that says "Forums" when she's in the personal messages, it gives her an error. I just checked it - i go to my list of messages, then clicked on 'forums' at the left edge fo the blue bar on top, and i had no error. I'm using chrome . . . Quote

I had the same issue and then when I looked in my PMs, the message was not there at all. I asked about it in this thread, the error is coming up because the message is no longer listed in your PMs. At least that is what happened in my case. http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/441486-private-messages-messed-up-this-morning-thursday/ If this isn't the issue, just disregard and blame my tired brain for not reading correctly.
