SJ. Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Does anyone have a suggestion for a puzzle type birthday gift for a 2yo girl? My neice's birthday is coming up and I was thinking of ordering something from amazon. My boys were puzzle whizzes at that age and already had quite the collection, I am not sure what a typical 2yo without any puzzles would like. Maybe I should get two of them, one easy and the other just a step harder? Quote
Mama Geek Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Dd is 29 months and the 24 piece puzzles are getting to be easy for her. She did about 3 of them tonight with only a little help. She started doing the board puzzles probably about the time she turned 2. It took her a little bit to figure those out having not done them before, but it really wasn't long before we started working on the 24 piece puzzles. A month ago she couldn't do a 24 piece without a lot of help. Hope that helps. Quote
helena Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I'm not sure if these are too advanced, but Eeboo toys are so cute! http://www.amazon.com/Eeboo-Alphabet-Number-Puzzle-Pairs/dp/B000ELQUX6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1353567990&sr=8-1&keywords=eeboo+puzzle hth :) Quote
Ottakee Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Lauri puzzles are great. They have texture and hold up to a lot of use since they are made of crepe rubber not cardboard. I know that Timberdoodle had a lot of them but I would assume amazon would as well. Quote
Annie Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 How about this board with different kinds of latches? http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-Deluxe-Latches-Board/dp/B000NVBE1A Quote
