Unicorn.
Does anyone have a great/favorite gf pie crust recipe? Our local store sold out last week and didn't get their new shipment in. Now I have to make my own. I didn't even make my own pre-gf. Links are fine. Thanks!
AK_Mom4
My favorite GF pie crusts are made with crushed GF cookies. Vanilla wafers or gingersnaps make tasty crusts - just mix with butter (or some substitute). I have made this one: http://simplygluten-free.com/blog/2011/10/perfect-gluten-free-pie-crust-recipe.html but the problem is that you need a GF flour blend. If you have all those starches handy, that's great, but I am usually missing one or two. Cookie crusts are easier....

BlueTaelon
We started using this pie crust for pumpkin pies after we made this yummy pie which even works well for non dairy when we used coconut milk and tofutti cream cheese http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/cream-cheese-pumpkin-pie-gluten-free/6c59f35c-2e67-4cdd-a6a6-20601e071fd0 the crust was very good and had a bit of a sweet nutty flavor. Just a tip, the crust is a fluffy mix (I mix in kitchen aid mixer) and I skip rolling it out and just press it into a greased pan into the shape I want. MyLittleWonders
If you have a Whole Foods or health food store local, you might be able to find Pamela's Products Bread Mix & Flour Blend - it makes a great pie crust, as well as fantastic cinnamon rolls and pizza crust (I had a garlic herb blend to the crust).
