Stayseeliz Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 We still keep our puppies tethered when they are in the house since they chew on EVERTYHING and aren't 100 percent housebroken. They are almost 4 months old. The problem is that one of the puppies chews on his leash. I bought a leash at Walmart on Friday and he had chewed through it by Monday. I bought a metal leash yesterday but the sound on the kitchen floor is driving me insane. What else can I do? We thought about just using some kind of heavy cord but the kids need to be able to grab them and get them outside quickly. Thanks for suggestions. I'll be glad when we don't have to keep them tethered anymore but I don't want them choking on anything! Quote
Denisemomof4 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I'd get one of those leashes that is a chain. One for a small dog won't be heavy. He won't be able to chew through it. This will pass. :) Quote
Stayseeliz Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Thanks. I'll look for a smaller chain leash. The one I have is pretty heavy duty. They sure won't be able to chew through it but it's LOUD. I'll buy a smaller one. Hadn't thought of that. Quote
