I don't know who coined the term "terrible twos" (actually three was much worse than two), but this is so much worse. I know I was a basketcase with my first child at this age, but I seem to be so much more weary of this now. For a kid who can't wait to leave the nest, he certainly doesn't seem to be interested in doing the things that will make it happen for him. He knows that he needs significant scholarship money for us to be able to afford to send him away for college. He really doesn't want to go to the local LAC, because that would mean living at home with mean, old, terrible mom! And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
