Finally found my subscriptions, but they're no longer organized. :(

Will we be able to organize our subscriptions like we did in the old format? I had LOTS of categories; schooling-related posts were arranged by academic subject, and I even had categories for recipes, games, and lots more.

Mind sharing where tjhey were?

I found some threads under Content/Follow, but it's all really old stuff - not that that's bad, but I'd recently (past few months) subscribed to a bunch of threads, and they're all gone! The most recent thread there is dated Aug. 2011. I'd subscribed to at least twice as many as show up there - am I still looking in the wrong place (and what are the threads there, then?)

Where did you find your subscriptions?? I haven't been able to! I've asked over in the Q&A folder several times - but no one's bitten....

I found mine when I clicked my name in the upper righthand corner, and then clicked on "Content I Follow". Except it only showed up one thread at a time, which I had to click through thread by thread to see -- surely there is a better way to scroll through this stuff, or a better way is coming, or something.

Yes, mine is like that too with only one thread (or sometimes two or three) on the page at a time. I don't understand why.

I don't think it's all of my subscriptions, though. I had a few hundred subscribed threads, and now it shows 22 pages of "followed topics". At one or two threads per page, that doesn't seem to add up.

The other thing I find odd is that as I've checked it a few times over the last few days, different threads seem to show up on the first page of followed topics. At first I thought perhaps they had received recent posts, but no. Right now the top topic listed is one with a last post on November 4. Then *under that* are some topics with posts today and yesterday.

Maybe they're migrating them over gradually? I keep seeing different threads every time I look at the "Content I Follow" thread, so it seems like some things are still changing. I'm going to wait a week or two until the dust settles and then see what's what.

This was one of the areas that they warned us about. I started to copy over my subscribed threads, but then I lost steam. And as much as I would love to have better access to them, (speaking for myself here) I was too lazy to back them up, so I guess I can't really expect somebody else to fix it for me.

Still, the 1 thread per page thing is weird.

Curioser and curiouser...

So I went and found one of the recent subscribed threads that had disappeared so I could re-add it to the list. But when I went the the thread and went to click on "Follow", it said "Unfollow". Which means it thinks I am in fact already following/subscribed to it. But I went back and checked my list of threads on Follow/Content and it's still not there. What the heck??

btw, I get more than one thread per page on the Follow/Content page. But my missing threads are not on subsequent pages - it says I have two pages total, and there's only one (very old) thread currently on the second page, and no third page.

Argh. :banghead: So, just to see what would happen, I "unfollowed" and then re-"followed" the thread I mentioned above, and it still doesn't show up in the list! Then this morning, I tried to follow another thread (that I had not followed before), and it doesn't show up either! But a new thread I followed a couple of days ago did show up. :confused1:
