Hunter
I really like having digital backups of my favorite hardcopy books. When I am at the library gathering supplements, it is so nice to be able to scroll through a kindle book on my phone.

jenn&charles
Thanks! I just bought the History of the Ancient World yesterday as the price went down to 10.19 for the Kindle version. It's been on my wishlist for a long time but was too expensive. So far it's great! I'll have to check out the prices of her other digital books. It looks like all the prices may have been cut? lluv
It's showing up as $25 now. :( It's still showing up as $12 when I click on the link...are you looking at the kindle edition? The hardback edition is $26.
LMD
It still shows as $25 for me too. $24.79 for kindle, $26.37 for hardcover. Are you with Amazon prime or something, so you're getting a better deal?
SorrelZG
I'm not a Prime member and it's still showing $11.99 for me. This is making me nervous. I hadn't made up my mind if I wanted to buy the Kindle version of TWTM and now I feel pressured to decide tonight. :tongue_smilie:
TexasRachel
It's showing up as $12 for me and I'm prime. Thanks for the heads up. I prefer the hardback version for flipping around, but it'll be used either way.

If you buy it with one click and for some reason it turns out the book was priced higher than you thought (or you turned out to not like the content or whatever) just go to the bottom of an Amazon page where it says "Manage your Kindle" underneath the "Let us help you" column on the lower right hand side of each page. Click on it and it will take you to a page with all your Kindle purchases. (This is also accessible from the top of the page in a horizontal list and by clicking on your name at the top for a drop down list.) Navigate to the book you bought and then click on the button (on the right side) marked "actions". Choose "return for a refund". Amazon has always credited my Kindle returns within just a couple of minutes. You usually have the return for a refund option open to you for about a week for each title. Soooo, if you do purchase it and the price isn't 11.99, you should be able to return it instantly. :-) I hope this helps a little. I had no idea for a long time that you can return Kindle books. Now I've returned quite a few, especially books that don't have a preview and turn out to be something I don't want. Edited to add: You can also turn off one-click. Just go into your account. Choose "Manage Addresses and One Click Settings". There is a yellow button on the right hand side where you can turn it off.

arborite
If you just need a few pages, use your phone or iPad to take pictures and convert to PDF. You can email the PDF to your kindle, if you want. I do this for math and Latin exercises, so that my son can do his work even if he does not have his textbook.
