Trying to do traditional flash cards is being met with resistance. Thanks!

jennyradmer
We use math trainer (free online) or multiplication shoot out. We record her results every day and try to beat the previos day's score.
LMV
Just wondering if there are any good videos or songs that can assist children to learn their math fact (all 4 variations)? Trying to do traditional flash cards is being met with resistance. Thanks! What about working with manipulatives instead? If you think about it multiplication tables are really just sequential additions and I think that epiphany is often lost when the focus is on memorization of the tables. Does that help? thessa516
We use Xtra Math. It's free and very good. Someone here recommended it to me, and my kids are still begging to do Xtra Math even though we don't have school today. I've seen great improvement in my kids.
