Researcher
How am I supposed to keep this and Facebook apart now? Oh, the confusion! :tongue_smilie:

celticmom
I have not used it yet but I love the idea of a like button. This is actually my first post after the update.

CountitallJoy
I agree! MUCH better for bandwidth than having to quote whole long posts just to say "I agree". (Of which I have been guilty, but I always felt bad doing it :p)
Parrothead
So what does the like button do? Or is it a popularity thing? How is it connected to a person's green box with the numbers?

Lady Florida.
I agree! MUCH better for bandwidth than having to quote whole long posts just to say "I agree". (Of which I have been guilty, but I always felt bad doing it :p) So what does the like button do? Or is it a popularity thing? How is it connected to a person's green box with the numbers? I would use it in place of "I agree" posts. Often someone else will say what I would have said (and usually much more eloquently). As CountitallJoy said, it saves you from having to quote just to agree with someone. There will probably be people who use it as a popularity button, but oh well. Can't do anything about them. I'm too old to care if I'm popular. :D
justamouse
Meh. It may turn it all into a juvenile popularity contest. I use my LIke on FB as an acknowledgment that I've read a response. I give it three to four months before there's a meltdown.

Where are you seeing the green box? I'm not seeing it in the thread.
