milovany
... and two other missing children. It's wild to see things come full circle so many years later as I'm entering middle age (click). I'm glad his family can finally have closure.

What caught my eye is that you wrote a paper as a senior in highschool on this 29 years ago...29 years ago I was in 1st grade

What caught my eye is that you wrote a paper as a senior in highschool on this 29 years ago...29 years ago I was in 1st grade :D Another child included in my paper was Steven Stayner, who'd been abducted in 1972 and escaped his abductor in 1979 when he kidnapped another boy (5yo); Steven didn't want the younger boy to have to go through what he had. Much like the Shawn Hornbeck story of about five years ago. Sad things, these.

I don't remember the girl's name but there was a girl kidnapped walking to school...she was taken 3 days before my parents had planned to let me start walking to school myself...they changed their minds. Tasia
I grew up in NYC and I was 10 when this happened. I remember Etan's face being everywhere in the city. It's really amazing that it took this long for someone to be charged.

Not like a whole generation or some such. You could be sisters, but not grandmother and gdaughter or anything. :)
