tammyw
My daughter has a sewing machine and I'd love to get her a book with sewing projects and ideas. A lot of the books on amazon seem appropriate for hand sewing or too simplified. She has taken a few sewing lessons, so something not quite at the beginner level would be great. happi duck
I've only seen this book briefly at the library but I remember thinking it would be a great gift for my sewing beginner. I don't sew so I'm not helpful. Sewing in a Straight Line by Brett Bara It has 27 reviews on amazon...sorry I don't know how to link on the kindle. eta: here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Sewing-Straight-Line-Crafty-Projects/dp/0307586650 Edited November 14, 2012 by happi duck
