Joanne Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Is I can send him (and his siblings) to the store to buy ice cream since we are all "starting to eat healthy again tomorrow". I get ice cream AND a few minutes of peace. ;) {waits for extreme moose tracks} Quote
eternalknot Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 :iagree: and also make those last minute runs to Red Box so we don't have to pay for an extra day LOL. Bonus is that for the first few years, they're eager to do it as well! Enjoy your treats - both of them! Quote
happypamama Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Yum, moose tracks, especially that you didn't have to go get! I'm obviously not quite at the point of having children who drive, but I am at the point where my oldest can run into a store to get something quickly, or into the library to pick up books, thus saving me from having to park and get everyone out of the car for a thirty second errand. It is wonderful! Quote
rawbanana Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I can not WAIT for this day!! However my oldest is only 12 and even WHEN she's 16, I'm not sure I'll let her drive without hubs or myself...maybe I'll need to wait another 10 years for the glorious moment you are now enjoying.... =) Quote
catz Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Oh my goodness - jealous! I've just got junky halloween candy. :ack2: It would be really awesome if people gave the kids godiva for trick or treat. ;) Quote
Caroline Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 And you don't have to pump gas because on his way to pick up the slice 'n' bakes, he can fill the tank! Quote
Kalypso Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 My dd17 made a run for ice cream tonight, too. A big kid with a license is awesome. :) Quote
