ILiveInFlipFlops
I made pink beans in the crockpot on Thursday night, so today is Day 3. Do you think they'd still be good for lunch tomorrow, or is that pushing it? We ate most of them, but I hate to waste the rest!
kewb
It depends on what they were stored in. Things I store in glass stay good longer then the things stored in plastic. I find the sniff test is the best way to determine viability.
Heart_Mom
I wouldn't hesitate to use 4 day old beans if they've been refrigerated properly. I'd probably make sure to heat them up well, just in case. :)

ILiveInFlipFlops
They were stored in glass, properly in the fridge, so I'll take my chances. I just added them to the leftover sauce (salsa, corn, and spices) from our "Mexican chicken stew" from last night and boiled the heck out of the whole thing. I think it will make a good lunch with corn chips tomorrow. Thanks!
alpidarkomama
I'd keep them for a week if they were properly covered and refrigerated! :)
katilac
I'd keep them for a week if they were properly covered and refrigerated! :) We will eat pretty much anything for a week.
LibraryLover
They are fine. I'd rinse them, but I'd not worry.

razorbackmama
I'd keep them for a week if they were properly covered and refrigerated! :) :iagree:We keep our fridge around 37 degrees so we'd definitely eat them without even thinking twice about it.
